Summer Fair Success

On Saturday June 10th,we had our annual Summer Fair and raffle on Plough Green. The Cubs and Scouts had been out the previous weeks advertising the fair and selling raffle tickets. The weather held out and it was a great day for a BBQ, ice creams, cold drinks and games, not to forget the arena events! It was a great success, well attended by both members of the group and the local community. There was good support from local traders. The Summer Fair has long been a tradition of 1st Old Malden Scout Group and is our main fundraising event. We would like to thank everyone who helped organise, volunteer on the day, or just attended which spread the load and contributed to the day.

If you could give up some time and become part of the team that organises this event, you would be welcomed. Pleasen let the Group Scout Leaders, Louise and Alison know. We can’t do it without your help. Many hands make light work.
