Adult Volunteers

All adults involved at 1st Old Malden are unpaid volunteers. Whatever your background, identity, or ability, there is a volunteer spot with your name on it.

Volunteering can be a brilliant way to boost your mental wellbeing. It’s a great feeling knowing you’re helping young people get skills for life, and you might even learn a lot about yourself along the way.

You might choose to become a member of the leadership team working directly with the young people or you might prefer to help behind the scenes supporting the continued operation of the Group helping with: admin, fundraising, finances, operations or governance.

If you would like any more information about how you can get involved and make a difference in your local community please Contact Us.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
